As Operations Manager I am accountable for production, warehousing and engineering activities at BritChem. Part of my role is to coach and develop colleagues; we have recently launched a number of new strategies that have improved operational efficiency. I also clear time in my weekly schedule to spend a couple of hours working on the filling line to support the production team and to learn from them.

I joined BritChem in August 2023 and thanks to the values of the company, I have loved every day since.. Previously I worked in the steel and metals industry for 38 years. 34 of those years were spent at one company who were very supportive to me. I joined as a raw 16 year old and the company invested heavily in me and supported my career path, from an apprentice through to Production Manager.

Having the trust and support of my senior managers to develop the Operations Team at BritChem. We have a fantastic team who care passionately about exceeding customer expectations and they motivate me daily through their own work ethic and dedication.
